  The Sample Collector Author : SHRIYANS SACHITH My father had to be back on his tour abroad and as the norm is nowadays he had to be tested for Covid. The swab sample collector was expected any time now and daddy had instructed us to be clear of the living room and watch from a distance. The door bell rang and I took up an advantage point that gave me a glimpse of the entire situation in the living room. The sample collector was a young man with a large rucksack on his shoulders. After the introductions daddy sat himself on a chair while the sample collector downed his huge baggage. He zipped open a few compartments and yanked out pouches that had the requisites for a sample collection, a swab stick that was a lean plastic spike, a test tube to put the swab into and his PPE items.
