 Nature Is Home

Author : ANJALI WARIER

GOOD DAY EVERYONE..

Welcome to my BLOG… NATURE IS HOME!!

Nature is nothing but the natural Earth and the things on it. It comprises of flora and fauna (plants and animals). Nature is very important for us to survive and thrive, as it provides us with food, water, medicine, materials for shelter etc. Nature is not a place to visit. IT IS HOME.

Man has exploited nature to satisfy his need and greed. We have to protect our nature for our future generation and I recommend the following things:

  1. Educate people on the importance of nature.
  2. Plant a tree, try and cut less trees.
  3. Follow the 4 R’s – reduce, reuse, refuse, recycle.
  4. Conserve water- grey water recycling, rainwater harvesting and desalination.
  5. Be a part of clean up drives near your house.
  6. Use less of plastic.

Each of the above steps helps to protect nature and this starts with YOU.

Why should we protect our nature? Well, we should protect our nature because clean nature / environment will give us clean water, clean air and clean soil. Our climate will also be regulated.

We must respect our nature and make use of our natural resources carefully without any wastage. Our government also protects the nature through environmental protection agency (EPA) which was introduced since 1970. The agency worked to protect our nation’s natural resource by teaming up with state and environmental groups. In 1972 wildlife protection act was introduced to protect wildlife.

“By discovering nature, you discover yourself “– It is a beautiful sentence with a lot of meaning in it. The beautiful environment around us that we call nature, nurtures and nourishes us. God has only gifted our earth with nature and we should be thankful for that. The flowing river, the chirping birds, the tall mountains, the deep oceans and the blue sky makes our nature beautiful, let us make it our prime duty to never destroy this beauty.
