It was a cold night. The thief was wandering around to check whose house can have things to rob. He saw a house which was near a temple, It looked like it is an old house which can have many treasure boxes. The house belonged to Kavita the farmer. She was really intelligent. Her husband was so lazy that he didn't even get of the bed for a glass of water. Kavita worked all day really hard. The thief muttered," How can I go inside the house. I can see a lady working. I can't break the window and go. Hmmm....IDEA!!! I can act as I am a traveler and go inside and rob. great idea. " He went in front of the door and knocked the door. "Who is there?" Kavita shouted. "I I I.....I am a tra-traveler. I mean I am a traveler." responded the thief, Kavita thought something was wrong. She opened the door and let him in.

"Which traveler can it be in this cold night, can't even spell what he is ?? I have to check it out." Kavita thought while washing the dishes. "Wow I look great in this REAL GOLD necklace. I will keep it over hereon this wooden table." Kavita said in manner in which the thief could hear but the gold was gold plastic . As the thief heard it he waited for Kavita to go to sleep. When Kavita went, the thief went near the dining table and saw the gold over there. He took the necklace and went faster to his bed. IN the morning Kavita saw that the gold was missing, now she knew that the man was not a traveler but a thief.. Now it was her chance to make the thief leave her home. On that afternoon she said t her husband, "So I decided to go to your father and saw that we are not able to keep his money which is 1meter under the Farming field safe. We will go at night and this gentleman traveler will safeguard our house. The thief heard their conversation. Kavita's husband asked Kavita quietly,"Wh- What money. my father never told me about it." Kavita told her husband about her plan. The thief was in washroom at that time so he didn't hear their 2nd conversation.

After Kavita and her husband left the house. the thief went to the field and started digging all the field. He didn't find anything and left the village instantly so no one knows that he is a thief. When Kavita and her husband returned home. Kavita saw her idea worked. The thief left and even without working her field was digged only sowing seeds was left. In the morning she went to the field happily and sowed the seed. She told this story of a foolish thief coming at her home and went with his hands empty. Now everyone in the village knew this story and they all appreciated Kavita and made fun of the foolish thief.
