"Uhh..I am bored now" said Jenny in a tiring voice. She was all alone at home roaming here and there trying to figure out what interesting she could do. Her parents and her sister were not at home. Jenny called up her mom." Mommy, you said that you'll be returning home in some time and its been 2 hours!" "We'll take some time, honey." Saying this she hung up the phone. Well now Jenny was not only bored, but also sad.


It was 5.00 and Jenny went to play with her friends taking the keys. She went to call her friend Susie. She rang the bell but no one replied. Suddenly someone opened the door. It was Susie's mom. "Aunty, is Susie home?" asked Jenny. "No dear, she'll be coming back at 6.00." Jenny came back home and sat near the window. She kept on looking out, waiting for her parents to come. Jenny again tried to call her parents but their phones were switched off. She got sad and sat on the couch when suddenly the doorbell rang. She went to open the door in excitement thinking she would see her parents. "SURPRISE!!" Not only her parents and her sister, but all her friends were at the door with gifts and cakes in their hands and shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY!!" Jenny was overwhelmed looking at this. She was very happy to know that everyone remembered her birthday and thanked her parents for this wonderful surprise. This was the best day of her life...💜
