Hello, We have always used the phrase ‘unity in diversity’ but what does it mean... Let's explore!

Unity is what people have in common.

Diversity is the difference in people

Despite of different cultures, religions and languages people of India live together with love and brotherhood. The Unity in diversity makes India an example of brotherhood and mix the culture.

Unity in diversity is a concept of unity without uniformity and diversity without fragment. It is to be noted that our tolerance level is high. In our country different types of people with cultural religious and social differences live yet we are living unitedly. We respect our differences and live unitedly.

Examples:

1.In our class we have Gujaratis, Tamalians, Maharastrians, Rajastanis and many more, yet we are united because we are in the same class.

2.There are 29 states in India each state having different languages, religions, festivals, food, yet we live in harmony and peace.

It is important to inculcate this value in our everyday life. Let us stop fighting with each other on petty things. Let us be true examples of 'Unity in Diversity'.

  A SWEET DREAM Author : SHRIYANS SACHITH Aquaman was the movie playing when I guess I shut my eyes on a lazy sunday afternoon after a heavy meal. The mermaid was beautiful as it looked at me with its blue eyes. She had long blonde hair and a smile that made me blush.
