 The Day When Everything Went Wrong

I was in a peaceful place. I realized that I was in a beautiful garden where birds were chirping and tress were swaying slightly in the wind. Suddenly, I could hear a sharp sound like an alarm. I looked everywhere but could not find its source. Then I found myself on my bed, at home, with my alarm clock ringing. I sighed in irritation and got out of bed to look at the time. " 7:30?!" I shrieked. My van was to be arriving in half an hour and I was not yet ready. I rushed to the bathroom, hastily brushed my teeth and had a quick shower in cold water.

I came out with my teeth chattering and quickly dressed up in uniform. I rushed to my hall and found a note saying -
'Gone to the market,
Will be back soon,
Enjoy your day at school,
Love, mom'
"No wonder I got up so late today" I thought to myself. But I had no time for thinking anymore. I rushed to the kitchen, gobbled up some food, shoved my homework into my backpack, put on some shoes and rushed out of the door to find my van waiting for me. I sighed and got in.

After arriving at school I found out that had worn different sized shoes (but thankfully the same colour) and had forgotten to get myself some lunch. I smacked my palm to my forehead. "If only I would have woken up early" My mind kept repeating these words. The school started and my first period was English where we had to deliver a speech. I grabbed my backpack and got out the sheet where I had written my speech. I decided to revise before my turn. "Two dozen eggs, spinach, garlic...... wait, what?" I said to myself. Oh no! That was my mom's shopping list! She must have switched the papers by mistake. I wondered if my day could get any worse.
This was the day when everything went wrong.
