 My Scariest Experience

Author : DIYAN CHHEDA

Hello Friends!
Today I am going to share two scariest incidents of my life.

1.) Once I and my family were going to Coorg during Diwali vacation. We had boarded the Netravati express to go to Mangalore and by road from Mangalore to Coorg. There was a halt at Panaji for half an hour. As soon as we reached Panaji, my dad informed us that he is getting out on the platform to buy flavoured milk. I also got out. I was then searching for him. After ten minutes, there was an announcement that a train going to Mangalore is leaving. I saw a train leaving. Panic-stricken, I boarded a stationary train and started looking for my parents. I thought that I am lost and won't find them again. I started searching for them with batted-breath. After going through a few compartments, alas I came across my father who was also searching for me. I heaved a sigh of relief and ran to hug my father.

2.) When I was 8, I went to my Grandma's home for the holidays. I was drawing in the bedroom and suddenly I saw a metal ball rolling on the floor randomly. Then, I saw the ball rolling around a chair and disappearing under the bed. I heard some whispers from under the bed. As I knelt, I saw a person covered with a white cloth. I ran to my mom and shouted ghost! ghost! She told me not to worry and said that I was just imagining things. I went to my room and was astonished to see that my incomplete drawing was finished, this further frightened me. On second thoughts, maybe I would have completed the drawing. I then started reading a book, thinking that I will get distracted from the thoughts of the ghost. After ten minutes my brother came out of the bed and started laughing at me. My brother was the ghost! I was annoyed at my brother's prank and started beating him.

Till now these are the two scariest instances that happened to me.
