Who doesn’t know about the world’s best featuring novels of mystery and sorcery. This book series written by a prolific and passionate author features few of the most beloved characters the whole world knows. Not just children but also adults read these books and are intrigued by the story and are inquisitive to read more. Since people of all age groups adore the series no one can forget the woman behind the scenes. I am sure all of you know who I am describing. Yes I am describing the woman who is surely a person of substance and the epitome of struggle and resilience – JK Rowling !

JK Rowling who wrote this incredible and enthralling series is not only a prolific writer but is also a philanthropist who works for the children welfare. Born in a city in England she was quite fond of reading and literature. She was eager to read and that’s what made her a passionate writer. She started writing at the tender age of 6. She loved literature and writing novels and stories. She faced many pitfalls in her life. Despite that she didn’t lose hope and continued. This is what inspires me. Her determination and perseverance show her strong character. I admire her the most for her never give up attitude. Although her first novel of the Harry Potter series which she wrote on a train ride was rejected by many publishing houses she didn’t lose hope. After her years of struggle, she finally was able to reap the rewards of her hard work. She has won numerous awards and accolades for her novels and is one of the richest writers in the world. She has proved everyone about what she could achieve. Her books were also made into movies which have garnered a worldwide success. She is also down to Earth since she has established a charitable trust and works to combat poverty.

JK Rowling’s life is a story of ‘rags to riches’ and an inspiration for many (including me). Her struggle, perseverance, determination, persistence and resilience have truly inspired many worldwide to never give up in life and to overcome any obstacle.
