I have 5 chits with me all of these have questions that I have to answer, Hopefully, you will learn something new in this blog.
I have opened the first chit the question is what are oasis?
The answer is: An oasis is a small patch of vegetation surrounded by desert. Communities have traditionally planted strong trees, such as palms, around the perimeter of oases to keep the desert sands from their delicate crops and water. An oasis is an area made fertile by a source of freshwater in an otherwise dry and arid region.
In the second chit the question is can an oasis dry up?
The answer is: The short answer is that they do. Most specifically tough an oasis will only form somewhere where it frequently rains, or where an underground water table or spring feeds it.
In the third chit the question is that why is an oasis important?
The answer is that the location of oases has been of critical importance for trade and transportation routes in desert areas; caravans must travel via oases so that supplies of water and food can be replenished. Thus, political or military control of an oasis has in many cases meant control of trade on a particular route.
In the fourth chit the question is that name any famous oasis in the world?
Some, five oasis are Wadi Bani Khalid - Oman, Huacachina Oasis -Per, Crescent Moon Lake, Dunhuang, - China, Ubari Oasis- Libya, Chebika Oasis -Tunisia.
In the sixth chit the question is which is the largest and smallest oasis in the world?
The largest oasis in the world is Al-Ahsa Oasis.
The largest self-contained oasis in the world is the Al-Ahsa Oasis. Located in south-eastern Saudi Arabia, there are more than 2.5 million palm trees in the oasis, which is fed from a huge underground aquifer, which allows agriculture all year round in a region that is otherwise sand desert.
