Preparing for the Third Wave of COVID-19
Hello everyone! We all can say we are bored with the pandemic situation now, right! We saw two waves of COVID-19, with so many variants like the Omicron and Delta. The third wave of COVID-19 is speculated to arrive by the end of January. The 3rd Wave will have more cases of Omicron. My family and I are preparing for the third wave by following a few precautions.
1. Get both doses of the vaccine if you are eligible
The vaccine will develop antibodies that are useful for recovery and better immune system against COVID-19
2. Wear a mask whenever you go out
A mask will block impurities from entering your nose and mouth. Although many think it's uncomfortable, it's the need of the hour.
3. Stay Indoors and Avoid Crowded Places
Staying indoors means less exposure, and whenever you need to move out don't forget to keep at least a meter distance from others.
4. Eating a Healthy Diet
Eating a healthy diet is really necessary as it gives you the nutrients you need to have a good immune system and health
5.Exercise
Exercise has numerous health benefits, from improving blood circulation to maintaining a healthy weight.
Let me also brief you up with some facts about Omicron which might help you to stay safe.
-Omicron spreads really quickly, way faster than the Delta variant
-Maharashtra has the most Omicron cases in India at present
-Although the Omicron variant is milder than the other variants we should always keep this proverb in mind ''Prevention is better than cure''.
