Favorite Place Frequently Visited By Me

"The mountains are calling, and I must go.” Mountains have always been a source of awe and beauty and sometimes we don't have the words to capture how much we admire them but today I am trying to write a blogpost describing them as the favorite place frequently visited by me.

I always love to pay visit to my grandparents house which is in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The place is so awesome which is covered with snow caped mountains all around. It is so beautiful because it has a lake in the upper part of town and it is surrounded by provincial parks, pine forest, orchards and mountains. It has the feeling of a beautiful pristine quite vacation town, but has most of the conveniences of a big city, including an airport. Its downtown area incorporates a city mall and the world famous cricket stadium whose beauty is the talk of commentators throughout any match. There are many tea gardens within a 20-minute drive of downtown plus a number of tea factories, that each offer tours and tastings. The most memorable activity is always the trek to triund. With breathtaking views of the Kangra valley and the snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges, it is also very picturesque. Triund is the ideal destination for those seeking a hassle-free taste of trekking in the Himalayas.The trail to Triund is short but steep. The steep climb is well-compensated by refreshing walks amongst rhododendron and oak trees. There are also various songbirds in the forests along the trail which make it a birdwatcher’s delight.

Considering it’s an easy trek and with the effortless accessibility from Dharamshala or Mcleodganj, there are a large number of trekkers who go this trek. Experiencing the beauty of this trek is fantabulous.The town of McLeodganj (also known as Little Lhasa) also provides for a grand opportunity to experience the vibrant Tibetan culture.

With the thought of being able to head back for a vacation and for us to go back to our normal routines and freedom to travel, I would like to end my blog. So how many of you will accompany me to my favorite place?

  A SWEET DREAM Author : SHRIYANS SACHITH Aquaman was the movie playing when I guess I shut my eyes on a lazy sunday afternoon after a heavy meal.
