Now let me tell you who discovered this water animal. The Vaquita was first described as a species by two zoologists, Kenneth S. Norris and William N. McFarland, in 1958 after studying the morphology of skull specimens found on the beach. It was not until nearly thirty years later, in 1985, that fresh specimens allowed scientists to describe their external appearance fully. Hmmm, now you must be think

COVID VACCINATION DRIVE

COVID VACCINATION DRIVE   Covid pandemic has struck all of us irrespective of caste, creed, religion or nation.   We have tried to remain safe   by following all norms and precautions, from double masking to using sanitizer and keeping social distancing. The best way out however is getting vaccinated and following precautions. India launched its vaccination drive with two vaccinations in January- Covishield and Covaxin. The population of India is 1.4 billion so vaccination against Corona virus was always going to be a massive challenge. The programme had a smooth enough start. India began giving vaccinations on 16 January, first to frontline workers and those above the age of 60. The great Depression

The great Depression (The greatest Economic Fall Down) Hello readers!!! Today my sister was discussing with my parents about the great depression. At first, I was confused, but then as I continued listening, it seemed more and more interesting, so I researched a little bit on it. I thought that it would be an interesting thing to share with you all. It was a weird name, but it was a good topic.   In the year 1929, a severe economic loss happened which shook the world. There was a major fall in price in the US…the money income of the country at that time reduced to half of before! It led to so much loss that it started to be called The Great Depression. It had devastating effects on US which gave a terrible impact on all the other countries. Not only the poor countries but also the rich ones.   In this year, people started losing their job due to the increase in the price of goods. People started to have limited resources and there was despair everywhere. The poor could not get goods w

One of the first things I learnt

One of the first things  I learnt Today's blog, I'm going to write about one of the first things I learnt.  All of us might remember the first thing we learnt and am sure it is something we can't forget. Well, for me it was learning how to ride a bicycle. My mother  told me that I was quite fascinated by cycles and would always  sit on my tricycle  and keep  moving  in it all around  my house. By the time I turned 4 years, I was keen to learn to ride a bicycle. However,   my mother was reluctant to teach me at that age. I was upset and continued on my tricycle till I was ready to learn a bicycle. Finally, the wait was over and when I turned five my father bought me a new bicycle. I always thought bicycle riding was very easy, I faced a lot of obstacles while learning to ride it. The first hurdle was my height, being short my legs would not reach the peddle and I refused to get the height of the cycle adjusted.  Initial days of practice, I used to fall from the
