The World of Books

The World of Books DHRUV Mar 21 2022 Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing really good. “If you don’t like to read, you haven’t found the right book.” is a very famous quote by J.K. Rowling. In this blog, I’ll be taking you into the vast and fantastic world of my imagination and show you the strange incident of books talking to me in a library. I was done reading my recent book, and I thought of returning it after coming back to school the next day. I was pondering on the different books I could get in the library before getting ready for the next day. The next day, I entered the school library, but to my surprise, the librarian had fainted on the floor! I was really worried when I suddenly heard a click behind me. Before I knew it, I was locked inside the library! I heard faint voices that were coming from behind the shelves. I was petrified to the core, confused and curious at the same time. The mysterious voices were getting louder and louder every moment, and then I saw the bo...

B-52 Stratofortress war plane

B-52 Stratofortress war plane K Ayush Mar 22 2022 There are many planes used in wars. Today, I am going to discuss the B-52 warplane. It is also called Stratofortress that is designed in 1948 by the Boeing Company. This long-range heavy bomber was flown first in the year 1952. Though this plane had been designed to function as an atomic bomb carrier, it has proved adaptable to a number of missions. The B-52 has a wingspan of approximately 56 meters and a length of 49 meters. One another amazing fact of this warplane is that it is powered by eight jet engines mounted under the wings in four twin pods. The plane’s maximum speed at 55,000 feet is Mach 0.9 (595 miles per hour, or 960 km/hr). Because of its huge airframe, the B-52 earned the nickname “Big Ugly Fat Fellow” (BUFF). This plane could be retrofitted with highly sophisticated navigational, weapons-control, and electronic countermeasures systems. More than 70 B-52s remain in service in the United States Air Force till date.

ABILITY TO SPEAK WITH ANIMALS

ABILITY TO SPEAK WITH ANIMALS SAI SUMEDH PANGA Mar 23 2022 If I had the ability to speak to animals, I would spread this news all over social media. I would be famous and be nicknamed as Real-Life Dr Dolittle. I would study as an animal doctor. I could help many animals and since I can speak to animals I can hear their pains. I would also open a zoo without cages so, animals can roam and also can eat whatever they want. I would also build a home for extinct species and help missing animals. I would write a book describing their feelings, I would try to survey as many species as possible to see how we could benefit them in an ethical way, and I would personally speak to Gerard (we named him Jared in class, but we can call him Gerard for now) and other ladybugs to understand how they appear to Mrs Crotty whenever she is having a hard time in life. The animals’ voices may be inaudible to others, but I could bring their viewpoints into society.

Today, I am going to write a blog on ‘Imagine that you suddenly have the ability to talk to animals. Isn’t this topic interesting? The incident which I am going to narrate is humorous and interesting. So, let’s begin. One morning I was passing through a jungle and I heard a rabbit talking to everyone in the middle of the jungle. Everyone there couldn’t understand except me. I was only the one who could understand rabbit’s language. He said that he was scared as he had seen a hunter hunting for him. I tried to console the rabbit and hid it in my bag and got it to my home. Seeing this everybody got anxious. Everyone in my family were happy to see the rabbit. I used to talk with it and share everything with it. My friends got very inquisitive about this and used to come to meet the rabbit. They also tried talking, but in vain. Neither the rabbit nor them could und...

A STORY I WILL NEVER FORGET.

A STORY I WILL NEVER FORGET. Ishita Mar 09 2022 Hello everyone! I'm Ishita from Grade-3A and today I'm going to write about a story which I will never forget. Once, I heard an inspiring story of the 'Praying Hands'. It was a story of two brothers named Albrecht and Albert, who wanted to become artists. But their parents couldn't afford to send them to the art school. One day, they both decided to toss a coin and the loser of the coin toss would go to work in coal mines to support the other one for his studies. Four years after, they would reverse their roles. Albrecht won the toss and spent four years in the art school and became the great artist. When four years passed and it was time to send Albert to art school. Albrecht said to Albert, "Brother, now it's your turn to achieve your dreams." Albert said, "Every bone in my hands are broken by the hard work of coal mines. It is impossible for me to hold the paint brush." Albert joined his ha...

One day Mary sneaked out of her house and went in to the house on street no 13. At first nothing happened but then a voice said " you made the wrong decision " and slam the door shut and Mary was never seen again." I know it isn't that scary. But I was three when she told me that I was way to young to even hear those kinds of story's but the past is the past and let me tell you the voice that trapped Mary well it was just a recording now you just have to figure out the rest of the story as when I was little I ran away as fast as i ca...

Your first time away from home

Your first time away from home JAINEE Mar 09 2022 'Sans Home’ I had already started getting shivers when my parents planned my first outdoor religious camp at Gajpantha. It was supposed to be a spiritual cum adventure camp for children aged 10 to 15 with the purpose of inculcating religious values in children in a fun way. That’s what attracted my parents. “Jainee will become more independent”, said Papa. Mom nodded, staring at me with a loving gaze. Probably she was trying to study my face and the fears associated with this idea. I attempted to look brave but I know I was really really scared! Finally, I made up my mind and started packing my bag. Mom carefully put all my requisites (things which I may have missed) including my favorite biscuits and dry fruits. This was the first time I would be all alone after all without my parents, especially mom. Eventually the day came and I waved goodbye to my parents with a smile. ‘Mission Alone’ had begun and I was wondering what it was ...

A teacher I will never forget 👩‍🏫🧮

A teacher I will never forget 👩‍🏫🧮 MIRAYA Mar 09 2022 Hi everybody! My name is Miraya Sharma and I am back with another blog! Today's blog is about a teacher I'll never forget! This teacher is Kay ma'am, my 3rd grade English teacher . The reason I'll never forget her is kind of hilarious if you ask me.......alright, alright , it's VERY hilarious! You see, this teacher was quite famous in our grade, because of her.....strictness. I had the naughtiest class of the grade (like I always do) and NO teacher could EVER be strict enough to get ALL the students to sit back and be quiet as soon as she stepped foot in the class.....no teacher that is, apart from Kay ma'am. As soon as English period was up next and we heard footsteps in the corridor, Kay ma'am or not, everybody rushed to their seats, cleaned their tables, took out their books ; why, some even adjusted their hair and uniform! The point is, nobody wanted to suffer a scolding from her, cause when you ...
